PETITION TO BRING BACK MAD MEN IN 2011!

The prolonged negotiations between Lionsgate and AMC threaten to put off the next season of Mad Men to 2012.

If you can't wait that long for the return of Don Draper, please sign this petition urging that Season 5 Mad Men air this year!

I'll feature this thread. It's a great cause, but have they even started writing the next season yet? Or, maybe it's just that they haven't "officially" started writing? I just assumed the cast was busy with other projects. I had no idea it was some contract issue!

They haven't started writing yet because Lionsgate and AMC have dragged on the negotiations for another season.

And if they don't finish up soon, there will be no Mad Men in 2011: which is why we began this petition to remind them that they shouldn't take Mad Men fans for granted.
