Mad Men Has Been Officially Renewed for Season 5!

LOL, I had no idea this was even in doubt, but Mad Men got its official season 5 renewal today. They don't know when it will be back, though. :(

LOL, I know and when everyone started reporting it I was thinking, "It's one of the biggest shows on TV. Why are people acting pleasantly surprised?"

No Golden Globes for the show yesterday, though. That was a bummer!

Has anyone seen the Ken and Barbie as Don and Betty Draper? My friend who works in the library at Brown mailed me a copy...Ken looks great as Don, and Betty fits the Barbie mold perfectly, though 'd also enjoy drunken Betty, as per famous episode when she discovers Don has been cheating, again. Do you find this valuable?

I think they made a Roger and Joan, too! They are sooo expensive, but I want them all! :)

OMG! I didn't hear about this til just now! I SO want these dolls! But I can't buy them until I find work. I've been looking for a job since April 2009. (I'm a journalist and writer.) Now why is it that the Barbie "Joan" gets her own tiny pen necklace but AMC has not made it possible for us to buy the iconic pen necklaces in human size so WE can wear them? I would love a Joan-style pen necklace! Do you find this valuable?

So what do we think about there being only three more seasons?
Is it too much or not enough. (I think it is about right.)

Also I heard that two characters are to be dropped in the next season - any guesses?
