I read another piece where he denied it, saying he was too old. I've said for years that he would be the perfect Superman. He could bulk up a bit and be a mature Supes. They need to make something like that happen. Enough with young kids and superhero origin stories.

Well, he did kind of deny it here too. He would be great, though, as a more mature Superman. The last guy was a scrawny, snot-nosed punk. Do you find this valuable?

I think the biggest problem with Superman Returns was the script. Still, I would much rather have Hamm than Routh for the part.

The script, and the tendency today to build a movie around the special effects. The casting was kind of a problem, not just with Routh. I could never see whatshername as Lois. I'm not sure why. Anyway, we are at least agreed that Hamm would rule as Superman. Do you find this valuable?

Oh, I totally agree that she stank as Lois! People are a bit hard on Routh, but I wonder if he could have shined under different circumstances. He did seem a bit small but otherwise had a perfect look. Oh well... bring on SuperHamm!
