Cubicle farms don’t get much nicer than the personnel department of Winfred-Lauder. The department store features lofty architecture, solid wood furniture and Midwestern camaraderie. The downside: Folks sit a little too close for comfort and always under the watchful eye of managers in adjacent offices. The upside: Spontaneous song & dance numbers.
