| | | | | ROGER STERLING'S Story | Roger Sterling is a partner at the Sterling Cooper advertising agency, along with Bertram Cooper, the company's founder, and Don Draper, the agency's creative director. A World War II veteran, Roger and his ex-wife Mona, whom he divorced to pursue a relationship with secretary Jane Siegel, have a daughter named Margaret. He and Sterling Cooper's office manager Joan Holloway carried on an affair for some time but the relationship has seemingly been brought to a halt after both parties went their separate romantic ways. A hard-drinker, Roger also made a pass at Don's wife Betty one evening. While seducing a young model on another occasion, Roger suffered a heart attack. After this health scare, a temporarily reformed Roger returned to the office to attend a meeting with Lucky Strike but relapsed in the middle of it.
