The awards season continued with Saturday night's Screen Actors Guild Awards, where Mad Men won for best dramatic television ensemble. Congrats again, Mad Men! So... what do you think about the beard Jon Hamm has been sporting lately?
Rumor has it that Mattel is planning on releasing a Barbie version of Don and Betty Draper. However, I doubt they could top the above prototype, soon to be featured in Haute Doll Magazine.
One of our wiki members, Michael Williams, photographed this Ken / Don prototype. Michael says:
I shoot for Haute Doll Magazine (www.hautedoll.com) and we'll be featuring an eight-page spread in our April 2010 issue of an amazing miniature reproduction of Don Draper's office, complete with furniture, as well as six of your favorite characters in 1:6 scale.
Once again, Mad Men was recognized for its greatness at the Golden Globes. In case you missed last night's ceremony, the show won for "Best Television Drama."
Unfortunately, both Jon Hamm and January Jones lost in their acting categories. However, the show did end up with the top prize, so you can't really complain about that!
Don't forget to tune into the Golden Globes this Sunday, January 17! It will air on NBC at 8pm EST. Both Jon Hamm and January Jones have been nominated for Best Actor / Actress in a Drama. The show itself has also been nominated for Best Drama.
A DVD release date has finally been set for "Mad Men: Season 3." You can buy the boxset on March 23. Amazon currently has it on preorder here, with a nice price reduction. You can also buy all three seasons together at a reduced price, so treat yourself to a late Christmas present! SUBMITTED BY AMY_C ADD A COMMENT
