JON HAMM'S Bio

Johnthan Hamm is an American actor. He was born on March 10, 1971. In the 1990's, he appeared in various shows including Providence, The Division, What About Brian, and Related. However, most of his time during the 1990's was spent as an unemployed actor in Los Angeles. In 2000 he was featured in Clint Eastwood's space adventure Space Cowboys. The following year, Hamm appeared in the comedy Kissing Jessica Stein (2001) in a supporting role.

He never was worldwide prominant until he stared in the famous TV show, Mad Men. He recieved much recognition for his role in Mad Men. In 2008, he receieved The Golden Globe Award in Best Actor in a Drama Series. He has also been featured in serveral films over the past few years, including the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still.
